Rachel Hannah is a Registered Dietitian with Bachelor of Health and Human Sciences in Nutrition from Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA USA and recently completed the two-year International Olympic Committee (IOC) Diploma in Sports Nutrition. She has achieved her Level 1 ISAK Certificate in Anthropometry to help guide her athletes to find their optimal body composition for training and competition. She currently works with varsity student-athletes, the Integrated Support Team and Coaches at the University of Guelph to deliver world-class nutrition expertise for all varsity sport programs.
Rachel has sport-specific expertise in Relative Energy Deficiency in Sport (RED-S), iron deficiency, bone health and weight management. Rachel puts her clinical knowledge to applied use as a Distance Runner, having won 5 Athletics Canada National Championships in Road Racing, Track and Cross Country. She has been the First Canadian in the Boston Marathon and won a Bronze Medal in the 2015 Pan Am Games Marathon. She is currently still pursuing elite athletics in distances ranging from 5000m to the Marathon and with a focus on Road Racing.
